Both work in our heat, but they behave differently. LiFePO₄ is the steadier choice for riders who park in the sun and charge every day. Li-ion packs are lighter for the same capacity.

Yes, in most cases, and it is the upgrade most riders ask for. Lead acid and gel EV bike packs last about 300 to 500 charge cycles, so they fade within a couple of years of daily use.
